This is a good thing this subject was touched upon in Dear Abbey. She is a syndicated columnist with a readership that numbers in the millions. This is some really good and positive exposure; and it’s truthful exposure too!

Unfortunately, while some good information, “Abby” is wrong on one point. People do NOT consider the registry a starting point, it is considered by most to be the absolute final say on whether someone is a danger to society or not. And what is not considered is that sometimes the registry contains intentionally false information, such as the page showing my information. Secondly, I wonder how many news affiliates conveniently chose not to include yesterday’s column.
